Megan is home from Japan!!!
We were so excited to be able to go to the airport tonight and see Megan come home from her mission. She has been in Japan the last 18 months and we have missed her so much. We are excited to have her home again and to see her at Sunday dinners up at Grandma's house. After the airport, we all went to dinner at IHOP. It was a fun night! WELCOME HOME MEGS!!!

Good basketball game tonight!!!
Carter's team beat the bulls tonight. It was a close game and came down to the wire, but we pulled off another win. Carter had an amazing game and it was so fun to watch him tonight. Grandma and Grandpa Call were able to be there and watch him, which is always fun. We are so proud of Carter and his Select basketball team. They are so much fun to watch. GO SELECT!!!

Do you wanna build a snowman?
Calee was so excited to get an Olaf snowman building kit for Christmas from our friends, The Petersons. She has been patiently waiting for it to snow, so she could use it and build a snowman. Well, it finally snowed! It didn't snow much, but enough to build a snowman. Cambree, Calee and I built this cute little Olaf snowman in our front yard. He turned out so cute and Calee was beyond thrilled!

Carter and his Mohawk!!!
Last night Darrin and I decided to give Carter a Mohawk for his basketball game today. Darrin told him that if he was giving him a mohawk for his game that he better bring some attitude along with it to his game. Carter's teammates and his coach all loved his hair. Carter definitely brought some attitude in his game today and had a good game. Of course Carter had to send pics of him and his new mohawk to all of his friends including his (girl) friends at school. Everyone loved his hair (except for his 2 Grandmas and Me and Christy). We made him shave it off to go to church on Sunday and he wasn't too happy about it, but it was fun while it lasted.

Calee's field trip to the Treehouse Children's museum
Calee was so excited for her field trip to the Treehouse today. I was able to slip away from work and be with her for a few hours. There were three different rotations. Calee was bummed out that we didn't get more free time, but we still had a blast and can't wait to go back.

these girls love their brother!
Carter had a late game tonight and the girls wanted to be there, so they put on their pajamas and came to watch him. We didn't leave till after 10pm and it was a school night, but Cambree and Calee love their brother and can't stand to miss any of his games, so we let them stay up. It was a fun night.

Deer Hunt 2014
This was Carter's first year deer hunting with his own deer tag and his own rifle. We hunted our favorite deer hunting spots up in Randolph. We had warm weather, blue skies, and we saw a lot of deer, mostly does. Carter had an opportunity to shoot a pretty nice 4 point buck, but he hesitated and it ran off over the ridge before he could get a shot off. He was pretty bummed out, but we had a fun time. Carter worked really hard this year and got his hunters safety and his atv license so he could drive his own four wheeler. We went on a lot of technical trails and Carter did awesome! I was proud of him. I was really hoping Carter could shoot a deer his first year, but we still had a lot of fun. Maybe next year....

Look who got her ears pierced!
Calee has been begging us for a while now to have her ears pierced. Tonight we were at the Layton Hills mall and she decided tonight was the night. She was nervous, but she was super brave and didn't even cry. The girl at the Icing store that pierced her ears was so cute with Calee and made the whole experience a lot of fun. Calee looks so cute with her little ears pierced and she is so excited now to be able to wear earrings. It was fun night!
