4 wheelin' at Bear Lake!
Bear Lake has alwasy been one of our favorite summer destinations. We went up this weekend and had a lot of fun camping, hanging out, and four-wheeling with our family. We left Calee back at camp with Grandma and Sami while we took the kids four-wheeling. We took a pretty crazy trail this time that was a lot of fun, but a little nerve-racking at times. We had to help each other down the trail one at a time so no one would roll their four-wheeler. I was really proud of Christy. She rode Aunt Karen's four-wheeler back up the trail for her and she did awesome. You would have to see pictures of the trail to believe how scary it really was.

Back to School Night!
Tonight was back to school night. It is hard for us to believe that our little boy is in 1st grade. Carter is excited about his new teacher, Mrs. Butler. We got to meet her tonight and Carter got to go on a little treasure hunt. Carter also got to see where his desk will be and meet a few of the kids in his class. I could tell that he was a little nervous, because he was so quiet, but he told me more than a few times that he was really excited. We feel really lucky to have such a nice elementary school closeby for our kids to attend. GO MOUNTAINEERS!

Swimming party!
We had two different swimming parties at North Shore this last week. The Fire Station swim party was thursday night and our Call family reunion was saturday night. Thursday night was the funnest because we had the whole pool to ourselves. Carter and Cambree are getting to be pretty awesome little swimmers. I think between swim lessons, Lake Powell, and lots of swimming at North shore this summer they have really become comfortable in the water. Carter is doing pretty good at diving down and getting dive sticks off the bottom of the pool. Carter was also having a blast on the waterslide. After awhile, I lost count of how many times he went down.

Havin' Fun at the Fair!
Yesterday was the first day of the Fair. We are lucky enough to be able to spend a lot of time out there every year and see and do all there is to do. Last night the kids fed and pet a lot of animals, went on a little train ride, Carter actually got to learn how to milk a cow, and we watched the arenacross, which was awesome.

Heritage Days Baby Contest
Heritage Days Parade!
This weekend was Harrisville Heritage Days. I rode in the parade with the Fire Department; Christy and the kids got ride in the county truck to promote the Weber County Fair. Carter and Cambree always love to ride in the parades and throw candy to all the other kids. Carter was especially excited because he saw Aven (his little girlfriend from kindergarten), and he told me that he threw extra candy to her.
