Grease!

Thursday night we saw Grease at Tuacahn. We didn't know if our kids would like Grease or not, but they loved it! The even loved it just as much as The Little Mermaid. Carter thought all the motorcycles and hot rod cars in the show were awesome. We stayed after and met most of the cast members from the show and our kids thought that was great. It was a fun night!

St. George June 2011

This year we were lucky enough to go to St. George and stay in the new La Quinta Hotel. The hotel was super nice and it had a fun swimming pool that our kids loved. We spent our days swimming, shopping, visting historic downtown and our nights we spent at Tuacahn. Thursday night we saw Grease and Friday night we saw The Little Mermaid. Our kids loved both shows. It was a really fun couple of days.

Hardware Ranch ride

Friday was a fun day! Carter and I got to go four-wheeling all day with Granpda, my Dad, Kyle, and Aunt Sue. We started at Hardware Ranch and rode up towards Monte Cristoe as far as we could until the snow got too deep. We then rode back down and over towards Logan as far as we could. Everything was super green, the weather was perfect, and it didn't get too cold until we got up higher where the snow was. For lunch we stopped and ate next to a little river and Carter snuck up on a fish and caught it with his bare hands. I think it shocked him that he was actually able to catch it and pull it out of the water. It was fun to get away for a day and ride through the mountains. It was very relaxing and made me think about how lucky we are to live where we do and have such beautiful mountains we can go to and enjoy. It ended up being quite an adventurous day for Carter. He got to play in the snow in June, catch a fish with his bare hands, and uncle Kyle let him drive the four-wheeler by himself for parts of the ride.

Camp Kiesel!

Carter got to go to Camp Kiesel last thursday with all the cub scouts in our ward. He was so excited, that he talked about Camp all week long. Carter absolutely loves scouting and everything about it. He wanted me to got with him this year to camp, but there were seven women leaders going, so I opted to stay home. Carter said that he had a blast. He said he loved shooting the bb guns and bow & arrows the best. He also said they had a lot of fun in the rowboats and that the Bishop tried to get everyone wet. Of course the highlight of the trip to day camp was all the fun stuff that he bought at the Trading Post including a new swiss army knife. We are just glad he loves scouting so much and that he had such a fun time at camp this year. A big thank-you to all of his leaders for doing such a good job and helping Carter in Scouting! (p.s. thanks Kari for the pictures)

Summertime!

Summertime:

a time for riding bikes, eating popsicles, dancing, playing, and just having fun.....

Kirina's blessing day!

Jared and Sami blessed Kirina Sunday June 5. Afterward we all went to Mom and Dad's house for a nice dinner. The kids all played in the back yard and had a good time. It was a really nice day and we are so proud of Jared and Sami, and just love little baby Kirina. Here are some cute pictures that I took of Cambree, Calee, Addi, and Kirina.

Cambree's 1st grade graduation program

Cambree had such a fun time in 1st grade this year. We just love Mrs. Butler and are so grateful for her. We were able to attend Cambree's graduation program. Cambree sang so cute and we are so proud of her.
