Calee's bed

We are always trying to get our kids to make their beds. Well, this summer, Shandi is watching them during the day and she has been helping them make sure they make their beds. This is what I saw when I came home today. I thought it was really cute how Calee had lined up all of her stuffed animals on her bed.

Megan's Farewell

Our cousin Megan had her missionary farewell today. She will be serving as a  missionary in Japan. We are so excited for her and so proud of her. She is going to be an awesome missionary. We will miss her a lot, but we know that she is doing the right thing by serving a mission and she is such a great example to our kids. We love Megan and Carlie and we will be praying for them while they are both serving in Japan. Good luck Megan!!! We love you!!!

Pleasant View Founders Day

It was Founders Day and I had to work at the fire station. Christy and the kids went to the parade. I was supposed to be in the parade, in the ambulance, but we were called to a traffic accident right before the parade started. We were able to attend the car show and the salmon fry. Of course the best part of the night was the fire works. All of the firefighters families were able to come sit up in the driving range parking light where they light the fireworks off. We had front row seats to all the action. This year was especially exciting, because we had a bunch of trees catch on fire next to the school, and it was roaring pretty good by the time we all got to it. It was fun day and fun night.

the new kayak!

I played in a Weber County Sheriff golf tournament at the Barn this morning. The weather was perfect and our team played awesome, but the highlight was winning a kids kayak in the raffle. Our kids were super excited about it and can't wait to try it out. They wanted to play with it in the middle of the family room floor, so I let them and I took this picture.

Monsters University

Monsters University came out in theatres today! We went and saw it in 3D today and it was awesome! Our kids loved it. Here they are in their cool 3D glasses.

Visiting Grandma and Grandpa Dube'

It has been awhile since we have visited Grandma and Grandpa Dube'. Our kids were so excited to see them this evening. It was fun to sit and talk with them and tell them all about our cruise. They each gave our kids something tonight. Grandpa Dube' gave Carter his gold seiko watch that he has worn forever. Carter thought that was pretty cool. It was a very fun and very special night. We just love them so much!

New camera!

We leave on our cruise tomorrow!!!! We can't wait!!! We bought us a new camera to take that is waterproof. This way we can take it on the beach and with us to Atlantis and we won't worry about our camera getting ruined by water. I can't wait to try it out and take some amazing photos and video with it.

Girls and Nails

The girls all wanted their fingernail and toenails done before we go on our cruise. Lucky for them, their aunt Emily loves them and spoils them. She always does such an amazing job on the girls' nails. They were excited to get them done. Thank-you Emily!!!

Shooting!!!

We finally got a Saturday that the weather was good and I didn't have to work, so we got up early and headed up to the gun range at Avon to do some shooting. I got a new assault rifle for my birthday so I was excited to take it up and shoot it for the first time. We took lots of guns and spent a few hours shooting all of them. We had a blast, especially Carter. It was a fun morning. Thanks Dad for taking us!!!

Calee's pre-school graduation

Calee's pre-school graduation was tonight up at the Fish farm in North Ogden. We had a fun night catching trout and then Calee's class performed a little program for us. It was a fun night. We can't believe that our baby will be in kindergarten next year. We are so proud of her and love her so much. She is such a good girl and has done really well in pre-school this year. We are so grateful for Mrs. Sargent and all she has done for our kids over the years. She is an awesome pre-school teacher and we will miss her.

Cambree's field trip to the Clark Planetarium

Today the entire Majestic Elementary School 3rd grade took a field trip to Salt Lake to the Clark Planetarium. I was able to take the day off and go with Cambree and her class. We rode the front-runner from Ogden down to Salt Lake. We ate lunch at the gateway and then go to visit the planetarium. I was in charge of Cambree and her little friend Gracie. The weather was nice and we had a really fun day.
