Court of Honor

We are so proud of Carter. He has worked hard this summer and earned a bunch of merit badges and his tenderfoot. We are so happy that he loves Scouting and that he wants to get his Eagle some day.

 

 

Kodak Moment

Christy caught this Kodak Moment this morning as our kids were helping each other get ready for school. It is so awesome to see our kids love each other and help each other.

Calee's field trip to the Ogden Nature Center

Today was Calee's fieldtrip to the Ogden Nature Center with her kindergarten class. It was cold, but still a really nice day. Calee talked about this field trip all weekend long and was super excited. I was able to take a few hours off of work and meet her there. We got to sit in a teepee and learn about indians, and we also go to learn about how to make "journey cakes" out of corn and cook them on a fire. Calee loved seeing all the birds, especially the bald eagle. We were also lucky enough to see "Tom" the turkey right before we left. It was a fun day. We love our Calee bug so much and are so proud of her for how well she is doing in kindergarten so far this year!!!

Building a Fort

Here is a fun picture of our kids and their friends playing in Tyson and Jill Downs' front yard. I'm pretty sure they were supposed to be helping Tyson clean up all the branches from the tree, but they decided to make a fort instead.

Halloween School Parade 2013

This year all three of our kids were in the Halloween School Parade! It is always so fun to go and see what all the kids at Majestic dress up as for Halloween. Cambree and Calee looked so cute. Carter looked pretty cool as Willie from Duck Dynasty. Despicable ME minions and Duck Dynasty were really popular this year. All of the 5th grade teachers dressed up as Duck Dynasty and I got my picture with them. It was really fun this year!

Grandma Call's Halloween Party - 2013

Tonight was Grandma and Grandpa Call's annual Halloween party. Our kids look forward to it all year. We had yummy mexican food for dinner and the kids played lot of games including "Boo Bingo". They got lots of treats and we had tons of fun. We love Grandma and Grandpa Call so much and appreciate all that they do for us. It was a fun night!!!

Carnivore Carnival

We went to the Ogden Dinosaur Park tonight. It was their Halloween Carnivore Carnival. They had the park decorated with lots of lights and spooky decorations. The kids got to play all kinds of games and trick-or-treat for candy. It was fun to see the dinosaurs at night and they even turned part of the park into a spook alley. There was one part where a clown with a knife pops up and it scared the crap out of us. At the end of the night our kids were in a parade with all the other kids at the park.

Fire Station Open House - 2013

This year's Fire Station Open House was awesome! The weather was perfect and we had quite a crowd show up. We had both Lifeflight and AirMed come and land. We also had some live fire demonstrations and an earthquake trailer. Our kids had a blast!!!
