We spent Sunday in one of my favorite places in the world. There just aren't too many places more beautiful and awesome than Zion National Park. It was cold when we left Mesquite and the closer we got to Zion, the more the weather become colder and rainier. When we pulled into the parking lot it was sprinkling a bit. We decided to head into the store and see if the rain would subside. We weren't in the store too long, and when we walked out we could see blue skies and no more rain. We got on the tram and rode to the Temple of Sinawava trailhead. We hiked the whole way up to Temple of Sinawava and to the entrance of the Narrows. The weather was perfect, the views were spectacular, and our kids had a blast. Carter, Cambree, and Calee hiked the whole way and didn't complain once. They loved every second of it. We were so proud of them. It was an experience we will never forget. After our hike, we decided to stop and eat lunch. We planned on doing a few more hikes, but it started raining again and so we headed to the museum for a bit and then ended up leaving and heading back to Mesquite. We can't wait to go back!
