When Carter grows up

I take Carter to school every morning and usually he wants to talk about hunting. The other morning he says to me. "Dad, I'm having a hard time deciding what to be when I grow up." I say, "Well, what do you want to be?". He says, "A professional hunter, or a professional skateboarder, and a firefighter." I say to him, "Well, it is hard to make money as a professional hunter." He says, "Well, I guess I will just be a professional skateboarder and a firefighter." I just laugh, and say ok Carter. You can be whatever you want to be. I tell him if he wants to be a professional skateboarder, though, he better get practicing. I love having the opportunity to take him to school in the mornings. He says some of the funniest things, and starts my day off right.
