Easter Egg hunt at Grandma's house!

Shandi and I hid eggs and candy all over my parents backyard. The kids had a blast running around the yard trying to find them all. Some had candy, others had money in them. After they had all been found, they each picked a spot on the patio so they could open all their eggs and see what was inside them.

Easter Day!

Our kids looked so cute in their Easter outfits. We took these pictures of them on our front porch steps right after Church.

Easter Morning!

Easter morning was fun. Our kids were so excited to see what the Easter bunny had brought them. They each got a toy, an outfit, and their favorite candy. The Easter bunny also left the new Harry Potter movie in the middle of the floor and so they were trying to decide who it belonged to. We told them since it was in the middle of the floor it was for all of them to share. The girls were excited to get new Barbies. Calee got a Rapunzel barbie doll, and Cambree got the Monster High doll she wanted. Carter got some of the Halo action figures and a new Lego Ninjago.

Pleasant View Easter Egg Hunt

We have a tradition of taking our kids up to Pleasant View city's Easter Egg hunt every year on the Saturday morning of Easter weekend. They split the kids up in different age groups and set them free at 9:00. It has grown to be a pretty popular thing. It can be a little chaotic, but our kids enjoy it. It only takes a few minutes before the entire park is picked clean of every piece of candy. Christy stayed with Calee and helped her, while I stayed with Cambree and Owen. Carter, his cousin Eli, and his friend Parker were together. I tried to take video but I lost them in a matter of seconds and then it was too chaotic. They had a lot of fun and ended up getting plenty of candy. It is fun for Christy and I because we always see a lot of family and friends and their kids.

Baby Kirina!

Sami and Jared had their baby Sunday evening. Baby Kirina Ruth Swallow - 6 lbs. 2 oz. and 18 inches long. We took the kids up last night to see her. She is such a little sweetheart. Our kids just love her. We are so happy for them. They are such cute, proud new parents!

Calee's new spring dress

This is Calee in her new cute, flowery, spring dress! She looked so cute sunday at church!

Vintage Barbies!

Our girls begged their Grandpa Roger to search down in the crawl-space of their house and find all of Christy's old barbie stuff. Well, he found one of many totes and our girls have been in Barbie heaven. They have played with all of Christy's old dolls, clothes, furniture, and anything else they could find all weekend long. I took this picture of Cambree and pile of barbie doll stuff. I will have take some pictures of the actual dolls and and their old eighties outfits. They are pretty funny.

All ready for swimsuit season!

Calee got this new swimsuit the other night from her Grandma Janet and she had to wear it all night. She is so excited to go swimming this summer at the North Shore.

Baby Peyton

We have had a few opportunities lately to hang out with our little nephew, Peyton. He is so cute and such a good little baby boy. Our girls just love him and spoil him. We took this picture one night last week, while Darrin and Hollie were at the Jazz game. He looks like a little mini Darrin, with his round face, blue eyes, and blonde hair

Tangled!

Our girls' favorite movie right now is Tangled. We took them to see it the day it came out in the theatres. We also surprised them and bought it on dvd the day it came out. We even have the soundtrack that we play in the car. I don't know how many times they have watched it, but they love it. It really is a cute Disney movie. We heard that Rapunzel is even at Disneyland now, so our girls will be excited to meet her and get her autograph. Well,  we bought Calee a tangled t-shirt and she thought she needed to wear it everyday. so, we decided that we better buy her a few more tanlged shirts, and the girls each have tangled pajamas.

TOADS!!!

I stole these pictures (sorry Kari). One of Carter's favorite places in the world right now is Toads. His two favorite things to do there are play laser tag and ride the go-karts. We let him go with Parker and Kari the other night and buy a season pass. I guess he and Parker had a blast. Carter talked about it for hours after he got home. He also had to show all of us his cool, little season pass card that has his picture on it. I guess Parker's lasertag name is Captain America, and Carter's lasertag name is Captain Russia and according to Carter they kicked some major butt. We are happy that Carter and Parker have become such good friends. Thanks Kari for taking such good care of Carter. We are lucky to have you guys.
