The Pumpkin Man!

Today was Calee's pre-school fieldtrip to Lyle Dabb's farm to see the Pumpkin Man! Christy had to be at work today, so I took some time off and went with her instead. Calee has been so excited all week to see the pumpkin man, but when it finally came time she was scared to death of him. She had more fun seeing all the cats and kittens running around the farm than anything else. Her class got to learn all about indian corn, pick out their own pumpkin, see the pumpkin man, and even go into an old chicken coop and gather eggs. Even though Calee was a little freaked out by pumpkin man, we still had a lot of fun and picked us out some really awesome pumpkins. We even bought a great big 50 pound white pumpkin!

The shed is done!

This summer I finally got to build my shed. It is 10 feet by 12 feet. My Dad helped me with the plans and thanks to a good friend who works at Lowes we were able to get a good deal on all of our materials. Most nights this summer, we could be found outside in the backyard working on it. We had a lot of fun building it and we are really happy with how it turned out. A big thank-you to all the friends and family that helped us build it. We have already started packing it full of stuff and it is so nice to be able to park both cars in our garage. It is going to be nice to not have to warm up my car or scrape my windows this winter.

Ryan and Rachel's wedding

Saturday, we were invited up to East Canyon Resort for Ryan and Rachel's wedding. It was a little chilly when we first got up there, but it ended up being a really nice evening. The leaves were changing color and the mountains were beautiful. Our girls looked so cute in their new dresses and Carter looked so handsome and so grown up. Everyone loved our girls' hair. We had total strangers coming up to us and telling us how adorable our girls looked and even wanted pictures of them and their cute hairdos. Rachel's brother married them and the ceremony was short and sweet. Afterwards we took some fun outdoor pictures and then enjoyed a nice dinner. During the dinner and the reception, I took the kids on a walk over to a little miniature golf course and took some fun pictures. It was a fun night. We are happy for Ryan and Rachel and wish them all the best in life.

Sisters

The other night I watched Cambree paint Calee's fingernails. She was being so cute with her and such a good big sister. I just had to pull out my camera and take a picture. It is fun to watch Carter and Cambree take such good care of their little sister Calee. Hopefully they always remain best friends throughoug their lives.

Dinosaur Park

a few weekends ago we took the kids to the Dinosaur park. It has been awhile since we have taken them there and they were really excited. Cambree's friend Avery also came with us. The weather was perfect and there wasn't too many people, so it was a perfect day to go. Our kids had fun running around and playing while Christy and I just relaxed and enjoyed the day. We are lucky to have such a cool dinosaur park so close to home. It was a very fun and very relaxing day.
