Happy Anniversary

If you listen close to the song I have playing, you will notice it is Kenny Chesney singing about how fast life goes by. I don't know where the last ten years went. I do know that they have been the best years of my life. I love Christy more than ever lately. She is the best wife a man could have. I am pretty lucky to have her. I also love my 3 kids. To me they are the cutest, most perfect 3 little kids in the world. I love them more than anything. Thank-you Babe for everything you do for me and the kids. I love you tons and I had a wonderful vacation celebrating our 10th anniversary. You and the kids mean the world to me!
I love you!

Disneyland

Christy and celebrated our 10th anniversary this month on March 12, 2009. We wanted to take a cruise but realized that it would have been tough to leave our kids for a week, when they are still in school. So, it didn't take long to realize we should take our kids to Disneyland and spend our anniversay there. Some people don't know this about us, but Christy and I had a Disney wedding 10 years ago. We are also probably some of the biggest Disney fans that you will ever know. We love Disneyland and would probably hold season passes if we lived closer. a couple of years ago we went at Christmas time, and it was awesome. Well, we took our kids and spent four days in Disneyland and California adventure. Thursday, the 12th was our anniversary. Disney spoiled us. We got to go into the park early, and they gave us pins to wear that said "Happy Anniversary". Everywhere we went in the parks, park employees would tell us Happy anniversary. It was pretty cool. We loved being with our kids in Disneyland. The last ten years have been the best years of my life. I love Christy and my three kids more than anything in the world. I loved spending our anniversary together in Disneyland. It is going to be hard for me to choose pictures to post, because I shot over 1 thousand pictures in Disneyland with my new Nikon D90 Camera that Christy bought me. (Yeah, she spoiled me!) I will try to choose some good ones.

The best new ride in Disneyland is the new Toy Story ride. You get to wear these cool 3D glasses and blast away at targets in 3D. It was awesome. We loved it!

Legoland

The first day of our vacation we drove down to Legoland in Carlsbad. If you have little kids, we strongly suggest taking them there. This was our kids second time to Legoland and they absolutely love it. I think they love Legoland just as much as Disneyland. There are a lot of things for kids to do in Legoland. Most of the rides are kid oriented, but still a blast for adults to ride too. The weather was perfect, the park wasn't very crowded and we had a full, fun-filled day.

Las Vegas!

On our way to Disneyland we stopped in Las Vegas and spent the night in the Tropicana. We decided to take our kids out on the strip and wander around a little bit. WOW, it was an eye opener for our kids. It was saturday night, it was spring break, and there were a lot of really crazy people partying and drinking. Needless to say, we spent most of our time in the MGM food court, Coke Store, and M&M store. Our kids loved the Lions in MGM and they also really loved going into Excalibur.

Our New Trailer!

Everyone that knows us, knows that our family loves to go camping. We have wanted to buy us a trailer for a long time. This year we finally did it. I shopped around on ksl classifieds for almost a month. One night while I was at the fire station, I happened to check the classifieds before I went to bed, and saw that this trailer had just been listed. It looked perfect and the price was perfect. I called them and they told us we should hurry down to look at it, because they had already had a lot of calls on it. We headed down to Sandy the next morning bright and early. Someone had already been there and put down a deposit. Also while we were there, three other people came to look at it. Long story short, the sellers loved us and they decided to sell it to us. It is a 2004 Fleetwood Pioneer. They special ordered it from the factory when they bought it. It has every possible option a trailer could have. It still looks brand new. It sleeps seven people comfortably. We are really excited to do lots of camping in it this summer. Christy has already been busy buying stuff and stocking things in the trailer. Our kids are really excited and already have their beds picked out.
