My Mom and Dad surprised Carter on his birthday and gave him a VIP Jazz game package which include VIP parking, Dinner in the Jazz Sports club, and seats on the 2nd row middle court. Well, tonight was the game and the Jazz played the Phoenix Suns. We got there early, and ate an amazing dinner in the Sports club. After dinner, they sent us with drinks and treats for the game. Our seats were amazing. It is awesome being that close to the players. Carter was in heaven!!! During halftime, we got to go to the VIP lounge and have all the treats and drinks that we wanted. The game was amazing, and Carter's favorite player, Gordon Hayward had an awesome night, almost getting a triple-double. It was definitely a night Carter and I will always remember.

Today, the kids celebrated 100 days of school, and they were supposed to bring 100 of something to celebrate. Calee stayed up last night and picked out 100 different stickers and put them all on this piece of paper. She was excited to take it to school and show it to everyone. She was also excited to show us the crown that she made in school.

Ever since I can remember eating sunday Dinner each week at Grandma Evelyn and Grandpa Terry's house. It is something that I will always cherish. There is nothing quite like Grandma's good homemade food and being in the company of family. Today Carlie took this picture with her cell phone to send to Meagan, who is serving her mission in Japan and can't be with us for Sunday dinner. Not everyone is in the picture, and it is usually a pretty full house. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for having us over every sunday. We love you so much!!!

Today was Carter's last basketball game of the season. We are so proud of him. This was the funnest year of basketball yet. Carter was on a really good team this year and they almost went undefeated. His coaches, the Ropelatos loved Carter and the North Ogden referees loved Carter too. They call him the beast, and we would all yell to Carter, "beast mode" and he would really play hard and score a lot of points. A big thanks to all of our family members that supported Carter and came to all of his games. Especially Grandma Evelyn and Grandpa Terry. You guys are the best!!!

Carter is at the Klondike Derby this weekend with the boy scout troop from Christy's parents' ward. This year it is at Fort Bueneventura in downtown Ogden . There isn't any snow and not too cold, so I'm not too worried about him freezing. Carter loves Scouts and loves camping. He has been looking forward to this all week. He is such a good boy and we just love him so much. I'm sure he will have a blast.

Today we took the kids to see the new Lego Movie and it was awesome. In fact, they sing a song that says, "Everything is awesome" and now we will forever have it stuck in our heads. A lot of people didn't like it, but we are big lego fans and we all loved it. It was very clever and some parts that were hillarious.

Tonight we finally got everyone together for Carter's birthday dinner at Bellas. We all love Bella's, so were excited when Carter chose to eat there for his birthday dinner. Kaeley Gubler from our ward was our server and she took good care of us. She had everyone come out and sing Happy Birthday to Carter and wear a sombrero. After dinner we went to the Dee Events Center and watched Weber State basketball against Northern Colorado. Weber State played awesome tonight and beat Northern Colorado. It was a fun night!

We can't believe Carter is 12 today. This morning he woke up and opened presents before school. He was surprised to get a cell phone. (a green Iphone 5C no less). He also got his kendama that he has been wanting. For lunch, Me, Christy, and Calee took Wendys to Majestic and ate lunch with him. We also took fresh glazed donuts for his entire class for a little birthday treat and they were all in heaven. After school Carter had all of his buddies to hang out and play xbox. This weekend we plan on taking him out for birthday dinner at Bellas. We are so proud of Carter and the good boy that he is. We just love him so much and hope he had a good birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY CARTER!!! WE LOVE YOU!!!
