Birthday party for Calee

We had everyone over for Calee's birthday to celebrate, open presents, and eat cake and ice cream. It was a "Rapunzel" themed birthday party with Rapunzel decorations and a Rapunzel birthday cake. Of course, she was spoiled with lots of presents from everyone and it was a fun night. We just love our little Calee bug so much.

Calee's 4th birthday at the Tree House Museum

Happy Birthday Calee!

We can't believe that our baby is 4 years old! We asked Calee what she wanted to do for her birthday and she was told us that she wanted to go to Disneyland. Well, we told her that we couldn't afford Disneyland, so she chose her next favorite place: The Tree House museum in downtown Ogden. She was excited because she got to go with her best friend Emmy and spend all morning at the Tree House. Christy and I both left work and met Calee, Emmy, and Amanda at the Tree House. Afterward, Calee wanted to eat at Mcdonalds for her birthday lunch. She is so cute and we just love her so much. It is hard to watch our kids grow up so fast. Hopefully she had an awesome 4th birthday!

Calee's Cinderella birthday cake!

Calee has a cousin named Megan that just loves her so much and was nice enough to make her a super cute Cinderella coach birthday cake. So sunday, she brought it to Grandma Call's house and suprised her with it. Calee is big into Disney princesses right now and she absolutely loved it! Thanks Megan for sharing your talent and making Calee such a cute cake.

Field trip to Petco

Calee's pre-school class took a field trip to Petco. Calee was super excited. She loves animals and couldn't wait to go. Because Christy is allergic to animals, Petco is the last place she wanted to go. So, I took an hour off of work and met Calee and went with her. She had a blast looking at the cats, ferrets, hamsters mice, and rats. She also loved all the fish, turtles, lizards, and birds. It was so fun to watch her and the rest of her class get so excited over seeing so many of the animals.

Bear Lake!

Our friends Bryce and Amanda invited us to go with them to Bear Lake this last weekend. Bryce's brother Jason and his wife Jill have a really nice condo that they let us stay in. Our kids were super excited. We drove up Thursday night and it was 4 degrees outside. Luckily, someone came and turned the heat on in the condo and got it all warmed up for us. We had a really fun weekend hanging out, relaxing, eating a lot of junk food, staying up late, and playing lots of games. Friday we woke up, ate breakfast, and headed to the sinks to do some sledding. We found a really fun sledding hill that kept us entertained for quite awhile. We also went down on the shore of Bear Lake and played out on the ice. We took turns throwing rocks trying to break the ice. We also ventured out as far as we could before we started hearing cracking. The weather turned out to be really nice. It was cold, but the sun was shining, the skies were blue, and everything was so picturesque.
