New School Clothes

Our kids are so excited for school and we spent most of the day yesterday shopping and buying school clothes. Christy's Mom helped us out this year and bought our kids lots of cute new school clothes. Last night our girls wanted to try on some of their new clothes. Here are some pictures of Calee in a couple of her new outfits from Crazy 8. She looks so cute, and check out the cute orange shoes!

Swimming Lessons - 2013

Our kids took swimming lessons again this year at North Shore Aquatic Center. Our kids love to swim and would spend every day swimming if we would let them. Today was their last day of swimming lessons and we are very proud of them and for everything they learned this summer.

Cambree's 9th birthday

 Cambree turned 9 years old this year. She got to wake up and open some presents right away. This year she is really into Friends Legos and clothes.She also wanted a new cruiser bike and we surprised her with a really cute one that we found. For birthday lunch, she chose to eat at Wendys. The night was spent having fun at the Weber County Fair. Then on monday night, we had a little family party for her up at Lomond View park where Carter has football practice. We love our Cambree Lou so much! She is such a good girl and such a good sister to Carter and Calee. We hope that she had a fun birthday!!!

 

Weber County Fair - 2013

This year we spent friday and saturday nights at the fair. Our kids love the fair and look forward to it all year long. Our kids love the animals, all the games, and of course, all of the good food. This year they even had Laser Tag. We went to the demolition derby saturday night and it was awesome. We had good seats on the third row so we got to see all the action up close.

 

Dinner at Uncle Larry's house

Our kids were excited to go to Uncle Larry's house tonight for dinner. He has a really fun back yard. He has a little farm where he grows all kinds of fruit and vegetables, he has bees, he has dogs, and he has fun stuff to climb and play on. We had sloppy joes and fresh corn on the cob that was amazing. Our kids were in heaven because they got to play with Lance and Chandi's kids. It was a fun night. Carter - North Ogden Warrior Football

Carter is playing Tackle football this year and loving it. He is an x man and plays both offensive and defensive line. He has practice every night and games every saturday. He is a North Ogden Warrior and he plays with a lot of his friends from school. They played 2 different teams in a Jamboree in West Haven and Carter kicked some butt. He sacked the quarterback on both teams and earned some respect from his Coaches and his teammates. He was even made a captain for the second game. We are proud of him already and can't wait to watch him play this year. It is going to be a fun year.

Carter - Scout Camp 2013

Carter was excited to go to Scout Camp this year. Christy's Dad is a Scoutmaster and invited Carter to go with his troop to Camp Hunt. We were able to go up and visit him on friday during raspberry days. He was excited to tell us all about his fun week that he had. Carter passed his swim check, did the polar bear, went on the wilderness survival trip, and earned six merit badges. The coolest thing though, is that their troop went above and beyond all week and earned the John A. Hunt Award. They are one of only a few troops out of hundreds this summer, to win it. We are so proud of Carter. He is such a good boy and loves Scouting. We were excited to see him and get to spend some time with him up there.
