Photos by Carlie

My cousin Carlie has been taking a lot of cute pictures of our kids on Sundays at Grandma's house. She is getting to be quite the little photographer. Here are a few of the pictures she has taken lately.

Happy Graduation, Big Boy!

10 years of hard work have finally paid off and Friday you will receive your Bachelor's Degree of Computer Engineering. All the hard work, long hours and late nights are finally over and now you can relax and enjoy your accomplishment. I am so very proud of you and am thankful for the many sacrifices that you have made for me and the kids. I have never met a person so dedicated and hard working as you. There have been many days this past semester that you have missed out on seeing the kids and I know how hard that has been on you. I love you so much and hope that you are as proud of yourself as I am. I love you so much.

Jazz game!

I took Carter to his 1st Utah Jazz game. We were lucky enough to get some really good tickets to the Jazz's last game of the regular season. We were in the lower bowl about twenty rows up. We had 4 tickets, so Kevin took Eli, and I took Carter and we had a blast. We ate dinner at the Gateway, and then we bought the boys foam fingers and found our seats. It was fun to see Carter get so excited and to cheer for the Jazz and cheer for "Boozer". That seems to be his favorite Jazz player. Carter played basketball this year and so he kind of has a better idea of what basketball is all about. During the third quarter he asked if he could use my cell phone to call home to Christy. I asked why, and he said, "I have to tell mom how cool this is, and tell her that we are having a good time." I handed him the phone and he had to tell Christy all about it. About the 4th quarter, the boys started to get tired. The Jazz kicked butt against the Clippers and we had a blast watching it. It was probably one of the funnest nights I have had in a long time. It was fun to spend time with my brother Kevin, Eli, and Carter. I love all three of them so much.

Easter Egg Hunt at Grandma's House

I guess my mom thought our kids needed more candy! She had a really fun Easter Egg Hunt in her backyard for all the kids. They had a blast running around the yard finding all the eggs. Some of the eggs had money in them. Also they each got one big egg which they could turn in for a "big" prize which happened to be a squirt gun. So yes, after the Easter egg hunt, we had a water fight with squirt guns. It was a lot of fun.

Easter Morning

Our whole family went to church together at my parents ward in Pleasant View this sunday. It was really awesome. Carter, Eli, and Owen wore matching shirts and pants, and Cambree, Calee, and Isabelle wore matching dresses. The boys looked very handsome and the girls all looked really cute.

Coloring Easter Eggs at Grandma's House

Our kids love to color Easter Eggs. That is one thing about Easter that they absolutely love. We always make them strip down in order to do it, just in case they spill the dye. So here is Carter, Cambree, Eli, and Owen all shirtless and sitting on the counter coloring eggs with my sister Emily. After they ran out of eggs, my mom had this crazy idea that they should dye feet. So, that is why their feet are dyed in the pictures.

Easter Egg Hunt!

Every year we go to Pleasant View's Saturday morning Easter Egg Hunt. This year the weather was really nice and our kids had a blast. Kevin and Mandy are in town this week and so Eli and Owen got to come to the Easter Egg hunt too. This was also Calee's first big Easter Egg Hunt.

Happy Anniversary

If you listen close to the song I have playing, you will notice it is Kenny Chesney singing about how fast life goes by. I don't know where the last ten years went. I do know that they have been the best years of my life. I love Christy more than ever lately. She is the best wife a man could have. I am pretty lucky to have her. I also love my 3 kids. To me they are the cutest, most perfect 3 little kids in the world. I love them more than anything. Thank-you Babe for everything you do for me and the kids. I love you tons and I had a wonderful vacation celebrating our 10th anniversary. You and the kids mean the world to me!
I love you!

Disneyland

Christy and celebrated our 10th anniversary this month on March 12, 2009. We wanted to take a cruise but realized that it would have been tough to leave our kids for a week, when they are still in school. So, it didn't take long to realize we should take our kids to Disneyland and spend our anniversay there. Some people don't know this about us, but Christy and I had a Disney wedding 10 years ago. We are also probably some of the biggest Disney fans that you will ever know. We love Disneyland and would probably hold season passes if we lived closer. a couple of years ago we went at Christmas time, and it was awesome. Well, we took our kids and spent four days in Disneyland and California adventure. Thursday, the 12th was our anniversary. Disney spoiled us. We got to go into the park early, and they gave us pins to wear that said "Happy Anniversary". Everywhere we went in the parks, park employees would tell us Happy anniversary. It was pretty cool. We loved being with our kids in Disneyland. The last ten years have been the best years of my life. I love Christy and my three kids more than anything in the world. I loved spending our anniversary together in Disneyland. It is going to be hard for me to choose pictures to post, because I shot over 1 thousand pictures in Disneyland with my new Nikon D90 Camera that Christy bought me. (Yeah, she spoiled me!) I will try to choose some good ones.

The best new ride in Disneyland is the new Toy Story ride. You get to wear these cool 3D glasses and blast away at targets in 3D. It was awesome. We loved it!

Legoland

The first day of our vacation we drove down to Legoland in Carlsbad. If you have little kids, we strongly suggest taking them there. This was our kids second time to Legoland and they absolutely love it. I think they love Legoland just as much as Disneyland. There are a lot of things for kids to do in Legoland. Most of the rides are kid oriented, but still a blast for adults to ride too. The weather was perfect, the park wasn't very crowded and we had a full, fun-filled day.
